# How to Use Read Aloud for Selected Text

## Throughout Gallopade Online, teachers and students can select text to hear the text read aloud.

1\. To select text, place your cursor on the page, and then click and drag to select the text you want to hear. You should see the text being highlighted as you drag.

2\. After selecting your text,  release your click. You will see a pop up box with the options Listen and Translate.

3\. Then select **Listen**.
